About the role
The Customer & Commercial Planning team is offering an exciting opportunity to support the development of our customer-facing plans across Boots. This role plays a key part in delivering stretching commercial KPIs while ensuring the customer remains at the heart of every decision.
We are looking for a highly motivated detail-oriented and curious individual with strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel PowerPoint Teams and Outlook) who is eager to contribute to our Customer & Commercial processes. This role provides exposure across multiple business units and offers a unique opportunity to be involved in shaping strategies and in-year plans for the total retail business.
This role sits within the Customer and Commercial Planning team which is part of the wider Customer & Commercial Strategy function. This role reports into the Customer & Commercial Planning Manager and supports in maintaining all in-year commercial plans that deliver business goals with accuracy and consistency.
You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Trading Business Units Marketing Commercial Operations and the Digital teams ensuring insight communication and collaboration flow effectively across the organisation. As a key point of coordination you play an integral role in the teams reputation connecting the dots across functions and communicating confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities
Own and maintain a range of Customer & Commercial Planning documents always ensuring accuracy version control and distribution
Work cross-functionally to gather required content holding teams to account to meet deadlines
Manage a 12-month meeting schedule for core forums ensuring precise diary coordination for stakeholders at all levels
Circulate key documents to relevant stakeholders and manage cascades from meetings to wider departments
Collaborate with retail colleagues to ensure insights are continually fed into planning processes
Support both the Commercial Planning and Go To Market teams with a range of administrative and coordination tasks that contribute to the wider business strategy and trading success
Use initiative to identify improvements streamline ways of working and proactively solve challenges
Build strong relationships across functions becoming a trusted point of contact
Maintain excellent inbox and workflow management to keep the team operating efficiently
Use Excel and PowerPoint to support reporting planning and communication of commercial priorities

What youll need to have
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel PowerPoint Teams and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence communicating across all levels
Strong attention to detail with the ability to connect the dots and spot inconsistencies or opportunities
Ability to work at pace and meet firm deadlines in a fast-moving environment
