Job Summary

Description

JOB DUTIES:

Strong embedded wireless domain & deep protocol firmware experience in Sub-GHz and 2.4GHz ISM bands.
Hands-on wireless protocol design & development experience using 802.15.4 ZigBee Bluetooth/Low Energy.
Wireless protocol porting enhancements to support customer requirements and project CTQs.
Relevant hardware-software co-design experience and understands the basics of RF transceivers standards & regulatory requirements.
Power estimation and Timing analysis of battery-operated devices. Hands on debugging skills using TI Wireshark Ubiqua Perytons Sniffers etc.
Understands system & product architecture and requirements and proficient in design from the embedded system challenges with ownership.
Work on device drivers bootloaders BSP and middleware.
High level programming languages like C Embedded C RTOSes like ThreadX Linux and RF SOCs from TI Atmel NXP/Freescale Ember Broadcom etc.
Must be good at independent handling of technical tasks with least supervisor involvement and ability to quickly adapt to changes in requirements.
Experience in in-depth analysis troubleshooting & closure of issues.
Excellent communication and presentation skills

YOU MUST HAVE:

Strong programming skills in C/C;.
Experience with RTOS and Embedded Linux.
Hands-on experience in wireless protocol stacks and debugging tools.
Should have worked on 2-3 complete product development with firmware design & development.
Lead design and development of embedded software for connected devices.
Drive architecture decisions for embedded and wireless solutions.
Provide technical mentorship to engineers and review designs/code.

WE VALUE:

Domain knowledge of home automation Security Fire and/or Intrusion will be a plus.
Wireless technologies like Thread Low Power WiFi IoT frameworks will be a plus.
Experience with IoT platforms and cloud integration.
