Job Summary
Overview:
Ilderton Automotive is seeking an experienced Mobile Service Technician to support our growing fleet and retail customer base throughout the Triad region. This role is ideal for a skilled Mopar or automotive technician who enjoys working independently diagnosing vehicles in the field and delivering highquality service off site from the Ilderton Automotive campus in High Point Mobile Service Technician will primarily service fleet customers while also supporting retail customers who have purchased vehicles from Ilderton Automotive and require offsite assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform multipoint vehicle inspections at customer locations
- Diagnose vehicle concerns usingMopar MicroPod and mobile internet connectivity
- Identify operational issues through handson testing and customer interviews
- Provide accurate assessments and recommendations for repairs or next steps
- Interview clients upon arrival to understand vehicle concerns and operating conditions
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally to customers
- Assist in planning repairs and service solutions in coordination withIlderton Automotive
- Work closely with the oncampus Service Lane Manager Service Advisor and Shop Foreman
- Receive dispatch information and service priorities from theIlderton Automotive campus
- Provide timely updates on vehicle status findings and repair recommendations
- Primarily support fleet customers throughout the Triad
- Respond to retail service calls for customers who purchased vehicles from Ilderton Automotive
- Maintain consistent service quality across both fleet and retail accounts
Tools & Equipment Provided Ilderton Automotive provides the following:

- Promaster mobile service van
- Mopar MicroPod diagnostic equipment
- Mobile internet access
- Jack stands
- Air compressor
- Additional select service tools required for mobile operation (Technician is expected to supply personal hand tools appropriate for their experience level.)
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of professional automotive technician experience required
- Mopar experience strongly preferred (other advanced automotive experience considered)
- Strong diagnostic skills with electronic and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently in offsite environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift bend and work in various field conditions
