We are seeking a talented Principal Civil Drafter o play a key role in delivering high-quality design projects for a range of valued this role youll take ownership of design work using AutoCAD while overseeing project delivery with a focus on efficiency profitability and operational excellence. Youll actively engage with internal stakeholders and clients to strengthen relationships and ensure exceptional outcomes. Key Responsibilities include:

• Leading civil engineering design projects for a variety of key clients
• Prepare and oversee designs using AutoCAD
• Engage with and help develop relationships with internal stakeholders and key clients
• Focus on cost containment efficiency profitability and project operations
• Contribute innovative ideas to the team and suggest ways to improve quality and efficiency of our services as well as mentoring juniors

Who are you

To be successful in this role you will hold a Diploma or Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering and bring at least 15 years of experience in civil engineering design. A high level of proficiency with AutoCAD is essential while experience using 12D or Civil 3D will be highly regarded. Exposure to Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects and familiarity with ProjectWise would also be advantageous. Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively will ensure your success in delivering quality outcomes for our clients.
