Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Fleet Controller to handle administrative tasks supervising and controlling driver activities. Please refer to the minimum requirements duties and responsibilities below for further information.
Duties & Responsibilities
Determine fleet and driver availability compile delivery plans and ensure effective implementation
Evaluate the effectiveness of delivery plans according to customer requirements
Conduct driver briefing and debriefing
Calculating Fuel Consumption and Working Hours
Manage safety processes safety registers and PPE compliance
Conduction Breathalyzer test and verifying drivers license and PDPs
Monitoring trucks and driver using Mix Telematics
Monitoring of drivers overtime
Monitor driver fatigue complete postdebrief checks and ensure proper sign-off
Oversee maintenance of tires trailers and trucks
Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and that certificates are correctly displayed on vehicles
Handle general administrative tasks
Communicate operational issues with customers
Manage customer complaints while providing support to drivers with any challenges they encounter.
Minimum Requirements
Valid drivers license
Matric ( Grade 12)
Must have previous Administration experience in a similar environment
Must be computer literate
Data capturing
Prepared to work shifts
Reliable assertive and able to work under pressure
Pro-active and ability to take initiative
