TheOpportunity
We are looking for an Assistant in Nursing to become a part of our dynamic hospital team and provide support including the night duty and weekend shifts.
Key functions include:
- Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
- Work as part of the health care team and practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters for AINs
- Assess patients needs using therapeutic skills
- Answering patient/visitor/customer inquiries
About You
You will be a minimum second Year Student Nurse or hold a Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services /AIN training.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent ability to plan and prioritise the required workload
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and model Healthscopes values
- Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired
