Job Summary

Were seeking twodriven interns with a strong foundation in supply chain operations to join our team. These roles will directly support our global supply planning and transportation functions.

Interns must be enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a bachelors or masters degree and must be able to work in-person at JR286 HQ in Torrance California for 10 weeks. This is a paid internship.

Ideal Background:

Majoring in Supply Chain Logistics Operations Transportation & Logistics Operations Management Business Analytics or similar major
Intermediate Excel skills must know how to use pivot tables lookups and basic modeling

What Youll Do as a Supply Planning Intern:

Identify supply risks tied to seasonality lead times and forecast accuracy
Support planners with data-driven insights for decision-making
Improve internal communication regarding NPI/Must Win products
Identify inefficiencies in current planning processes to reduce manual work and errors

What Youll Do as a Transportation Intern:

Research into customer freight shipping terms and new software/technology solutions for freight approvals
Compare Ai applications for the logistics team and create use cases for JR286
Analyze factory freight on board (FOB) origins prepaid vs collect parcel freight and oversize boxes
Document standard operating procedure (SOP) and create key performance indexes (KPIs) for freight claims filing process
