Job Summary

SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans instruct students evaluate and monitor students performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity.
Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary Certificate with Middle Grades Language Arts or English Approved Area ANDProvisional or Permanent Gifted Endorsement or willingness to pursue during the 2026-2027 school year.
OR
Arizona Middle Grades Certificate with Middle Grades Language Arts or English Approved Area AND Provisional or Permanent Gifted Endorsement or willingness to pursue during the2026-2027school year.
OR
ArizonaSecondary Certificate with Middle Grades English or Language ArtsEnglish or Language Arts Approved Area AND Provisional or Permanent Gifted Endorsement or willingness to pursue during the2026-2027school year.
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

Effective:2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

LOCATION:Alice Vail Middle School Broadway & Craycroft area

FTE :1.0 -7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar:9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
