Shift: Nights 4x12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night shift assignment. The RN will care for adult patients with cardiac and stroke diagnoses in a high-acuity medical-surgical telemetry unit.
This role requires strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills comfort with telemetry monitoring and the ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Unit Details
Patient Population: Cardiac and Stroke
Day/Evening Ratios: 5:1 (may stretch to 67:1)
Night Ratios: 67:1 (may stretch to 810:1 if staffing calls in)
Support Staff:
Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) assist with vitals blood glucose checks EKGs and ADLs
In-house Phlebotomy Team handles peripheral lab draws
Nursing responsible for PICC lines and central lines
Required Experience
Minimum 1 year of MS/Telemetry experience
Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Must be comfortable floating within scope to:
Medical/Surgical units
ICU
Emergency Department (ED)
Required Skills & Competencies
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Rapid Response Team utilization
Peripheral IV line care and management
Oxygen delivery systems:
Nasal cannula
Face masks
Portable oxygen tanks
Non-invasive airway management
Isolation precautions
Experience using Hoyer lifts
