About You:
We seek an all-rounded architectural team lead with experience of every stage of complex commercial projects a solid understanding ofdesign development and delivery adept at problem-solving and collaboration with team members and consultants for optimal project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers design and documentation required throughout each phase of the project lifecycle with the team. Skilled in design development technical drawing and project coordination. Demonstrates expertise in various aspects of design/documentation or a good understanding of all aspects including concept development space planning material selection and construction documentation.
- Has a solid understanding in relevant codes and standards eg. NCC Australian Standards and planning controls.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks sustainability practices cutting-edge materials and other technical perspectives. Oversees the preparation of architectural drawings models and specifications that accurately reflect the design intent.
- Expert in working on complex multi-phase projects with a focus on achieving high-quality outcomes and compliance with regulations.
- Independently ensures that design solutions align with project goals client objectives and financial constraints.
- Monitors project budgets closely tracking progress and ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Helps manage project resource allocation including staff materials and contractors to ensure efficient use of resources across projects.
- Manage client relationship and expectations. Contributes to client meetings or presentations helping to clearly communicate design and maintain long-term relationships with high-level clients anticipating their needs and delivering tailored design solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 15 years of local experience
- Experienced in design and construction documentationthrough the life cycle of the project
- Expert in working on complex multi-phase projects with a focus on achieving high-quality outcomes and compliance with regulations.
- Has a solid understanding of the NCC Australian Standards and relevant industry regulations
- Strong level of technical/construction knowledge is essential.
- Take the lead on major presentations and negotiations. Communicates design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders using strong visual and verbal presentation skills.
- Revit proficiency is essential
