The Field Application Engineer is the closer when technology meets reality. The person who shows up before pilots fail customers are restless and excuses are no longer acceptable.

Sales promises it. Product designs it. This role makes it undeniable in the field.

You drop into chaos rip out guesswork and leave behind a system that works scales and shuts people up. When this role is done pilots stop being interesting and start being production.

What Youll Be Doing

Install debugand harden hardware and firmwarein environments that do not care about best practices.
Tear through boot issues with JTAG or OpenOCD and fix problems before vendors finish typing their reply.
Tune RF where it actually fails inside warehouses full of steel forklifts and interference.
Build OTA pipelinesand provisioning flows that stay secure after deployment not just on paper.
Wire telemetryinto AWS IoT or Azure IoT and validate streams into Kafka so dashboards stop lying.
Turn field failures into automated tests that kill regressions permanently.
Build Grafana dashboardsand Prometheus alerts that stop oncall noise instead of documenting it.
Trainoperators lead workshops and leave behind runbooks that scale knowledge without babysitting.
Own the field toolchain spectrum analyzers protocol sniffers serial consoles and everything no one else wants to touch.
Travel often because installs are where truth lives.
