Duties and Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials for field foremen and prefab teams.
- Review manage and issue purchase orders to preferred vendors.
- Build and sustain relationships with suppliers.
- Schedule and expedite material deliveries when necessary.
- Match vendor invoices against orders for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Handle material scrap and reel return procedures securing credits from suppliers.
- Prepare RFP and RFQ documentation.
- Summarize RFP and RFQ details for operational distribution.
- Communicate with vendors about pricing and delivery issues.
- Monitor commodity markets and update Operations on changes.
- Track supplier KPIs and provide quarterly summary reports.
Must-haves:
- 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience ideally in construction or electrical contracting.
- Strong relationship-building skills with suppliers and vendors.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Effective communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Eligible for reliability security clearance.
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge of electrical systems and construction industry experience.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
This is annual compensation;$50000 - $60000
