Salary Range: $100000 $145000 annually
Relocation Assistance: Available (subject to HR approval)
Placement Fee: 20% of annual salary (split per contract terms)
Position Overview
A growing acute care hospital in Northern Virginia is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager Behavioral Health to lead day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health Nursing Department. The facility is a 120 bed acute care hospital serving the surrounding community and offers a collaborative patient-centered care environment.
This leadership role partners closely with House Supervisors and Charge Nurses to ensure safe high-quality care delivery regulatory compliance and staff engagement within an acute behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the Behavioral Health Nursing Department
Provide leadership guidance and oversight to House Supervisors and Charge Nurses
Ensure compliance with regulatory accreditation and patient safety standards
Support staff engagement performance improvement and clinical excellence initiatives
Foster a culture of compassionate patient-centered behavioral health care
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Manager Supervisor or Clinical Team Lead in a Behavioral Health unit within an acute care setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 30 days of hire
