What Youll Do
In this role youll support core accounting and financial reporting functions while gaining exposure to a wide range of processes across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing a strong working knowledge of company accounting systems and processes
Preparing and maintaining accounting process documentation while identifying opportunities for improvement
Assisting with overhead budgets and budget-to-actual analysis
Preparing monthly quarterly and annual closing workpapers financial statements and related schedules/filings
Supporting accounting operations related to cash accounts receivable job costing and accounts payable
Preparing special reports and assisting with ad-hoc projects as needed
Performing additional assignments as directed by the Tax Director and Controllers
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related business field
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
Strong understanding of federal state and local financial reporting requirements including pension and profit-sharing plans
Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented deadline-driven environment
