Description

Role Overview

Production planner for slip joint (tulip and tripod) operations.
Plans production lines based on raw material availability customer requirements and production strategies.
Reviews weekly deliveries to Villagrán and updates the Master Schedule (MS).
Manages 13-week production requirements per line and supports Sales & Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).
Provides a 2-year production vision per manufacturing line.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze SIOP plans to design and update value stream parameters (intervals supermarket sizing line loading etc.)
Develop the weekly Master Schedule (MS).
Identify potential risks in material flow and coordinate containment and escalation actions.
Support value stream KPIs such as DSA Lead Time Inventory Turns and Intervals.
Drive continuous improvement across the value stream processes.
Coordinate with Material Planning to ensure raw material and subcontract availability.
Support the development of visual management tools for supermarket health monitoring.
Contribute to reducing lost time due to material shortages (LTA).
Create weekly production plans for production and forging areas.
Align budget volume planning with the manufacturing team.

Experience Required

3 years of experience in production planning material flow and inventory management.
Experience in the automotive industry (required).
Knowledge of production line processes to execute manufacturing plans.
Experience with MFG Pro and QAD systems.
23 years of experience managing inventory.
Strong understanding of strategic planning tools (SIOP / MS).
Languages: IntermediateAdvanced English.
