Job Summary
As a Senior Analytics Engineer youll be at the core of our client who are an online marketplaces modern Data Platform: shaping how raw data becomes reliable analytics-ready information that powers decision-making across the company. Youll design build and maintain scalable dbt models in Snowflake ensuring data remains accurate consistent and well-documented.
Tasks
What youll do
- Develop and maintain dbt models that transform raw data into clean trusted and analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake.
- Define and evolve data contracts metrics and semantic models across key business domains.
- Collaborate with analysts data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and consistent data for insights and reporting.
- Apply best practices in testing documentation and version control to ensure data quality and reproducibility.
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of the new data platform (bronze/silver/gold layers CI/CD pipelines data governance and monitoring).
Requirements
- In depth production experience in analytics engineering data modeling or advanced analytics.
- Strong SQL and dbt skills including modeling testing and macro development.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or another modern cloud data warehouse.
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles ELT workflows and tools in the modern data stack.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills able to partner effectively with product data and business teams.
