Position Overview

FortisBC is looking for a strategic collaborative and forwardthinking Communications Insights Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment brings strong leadership skills and is passionate about delivering meaningful customercentric communications.

In this role youll act as a trusted partner to teams across the organization providing strategic communications approaches that support organizational goals.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and develop communications strategies that advance business priorities and strengthen FortisBCs corporate reputation.
  • Youll develop clear insightdriven strategic communications briefs that support business objectives.
  • Youll provide leadership and direction to ensure the strategies outlined in each brief are executed effectively.
  • Youll guide teams in delivering innovative unified communications solutions that meet the communications opportunity and support business objectives.
  • Youll build strong relationships with internal business partners offering guidance on communications opportunities and strategies and responding proactively to emerging issues.

What it takes:

  • Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum four years of relevant experience (a combination of education and experience may be considered).
  • Proven ability to develop creative strategic and proactive communications and social marketing initiatives.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle highvolume workloads.

In this role you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week) subject to business or operational needs.
