Job Summary
Were a German team running multiple Shopify projects (stores apps integrations).
Were looking for a senior Shopify engineer who can take over existing work and drive delivery without constant pushing.
If you like ownership move fast and communicate clearly this will feel like home.
Tasks
- Take over ongoing Shopify projects and ship improvements weekly
- Theme development: Liquid sections/blocks JSON templates Dawn-style structure
- Storefront JavaScript: UI behavior cart logic debugging network/event issues
- Shopify app work: Admin GraphQL webhooks app proxy endpoints (Node/Remix preferred)
- Work with metafields/metaobjects and data-driven storefront/PDF/export flows
- Production debugging: reproduce issues trace root cause ship fixes verify
- Basic deployment help (bonus): PM2/logs/env vars (Caddy/Nginx knowledge is a plus)
Requirements
- Senior Shopify experience with proof (live stores GitHub/PRs portfolio)
- Strong Liquid theme architecture skills (not just editing small snippets)
- Strong JavaScript debugging (DOM/events/async/fetch)
- Comfortable with Shopify Admin APIs (GraphQL strongly preferred)
- Understands webhooks app proxy metafields
- Works independently communicates clearly and finishes what they start
- Uses Git properly (branches/PRs/reviews)

- Node Remix/React Prisma/SQLite
- Shopify Functions (Cart Transform)
- Performance optimization and clean UI implementation
- VPS/infra basics (SSH PM2 logs)
