Landscape Maintenance Worker

The Role

Ventia are currently looking to engage Landscape Maintenance Worker on a permanent basis performing landscape and vegetation maintenance along the EastLink Motorway and associated areas off the motorway including our wetlands grassed and landscaped areas and along the shared user paths. EastLink is a vital motorway stretching 39km located in the eastern and south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Duties

• Weed Control/Herbicide use
• Vegetation Maintenance (pruning hedging weeding mulching etc.)
• Grass mowing
• Planting
• Litter collection
• General road maintenance labouring

What you will need:

• Current drivers license
• Use of arborist tools and machinery
• Chemical and Chainsaw certificates are highly desirable although not essential
• Experience in similar industries including parks & gardens landscape gardening roles or roads maintenance are highly desirable although not essential
