Job Summary: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides rapid assessment stabilization and treatment to patients presenting with acute and life-threatening conditions in a high-acuity emergency department setting.

Responsibilities
Perform triage and comprehensive emergency nursing assessments.
Provide direct care to patients with medical surgical and traumatic emergencies.
Administer medications IV therapy and procedural sedation as ordered.
Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in status.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
Experience with conscious sedation.
One contract only no extension.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Certifications
AHA BLS.
AHA ACLS.
AHA PALS.
TNCC (required at Bellevue Kings County and Jacobi only).

License: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
