Lecturer in Hairdressing- FIXED TERM

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Hairdressing Lecturer to join our Hair and Beauty department. You will play a key role in delivering highquality teaching supporting a diverse range of learners and contributing to an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hair professional or a skilled educator who is eager to share their industry knowledge and support students to achieve their full potential.

Actual Salary : 9993.33-12649.09 per annum (10.5 hours)

Working Pattern: Tuesday; 08:30am - 12:30pm and Thursday 08:30am - 16:00pm

Essential Criteria

• Hold a relevant Hairdressing industryrelated qualification.
• Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
• Hold an assessor qualification.
• Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum and qualification frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver highquality teaching learning and assessment across a range of Hairdressing courses.
• Act as a course tutor providing pastoral support and monitoring student progress and attendance.
• Embed English Maths Equality & Diversity and British Values into all teaching.
• Use innovative and creative teaching methods including digital learning technologies to motivate and engage learners.
• Maintain accurate records including schemes of work lesson plans registers and student progress tracking.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
• Support student recruitment through events such as open days and promotional activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an excellent learning experience for all students.
