About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Administrative Officer to step into a pivotal role supporting a high-performing Executive Coordinator (EC) team. Operating in a fast-paced environment youll provide a broad range of administrative and operational support services that keep the business unit running smoothly and efficiently. From complex diary management and executive support to coordinating records preparing reports and streamlining office systems youll be at the centre of enabling effective business operations. This role is based at our 255 George Street office with a requirement to work onsite three days per week.

About You
You are an experienced administrative professional who has worked closely with executives and understands the pace discretion and responsiveness required to support senior leaders. With strong diary management expertise and proven experience providing project and operational support you confidently prioritise and reprioritise tasks in a dynamic environment. You are an open communicator comfortable managing complex enquiries and skilled at ensuring information is accurate accessible and delivered on time.
Your excellent communication skills both written and verbal enable you to build trusted relationships across teams and stakeholders. You are organised proactive and solutions-focused with a keen eye for improving processes and enhancing service delivery. Most importantly you value teamwork and bring a positive collaborative mindset that contributes to a supportive and high-performing culture.

Who we are
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Governments Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap which aims to transform the states electricity system into one that is cheap clean and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020 EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the States first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs) which are located in the Central-West Orana New England South West Hunter-Central Coast and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities investors and industry to investigate plan recommend and coordinate generation storage and network infrastructure projects.
