Job Summary

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Wilmington NC with the flexibility to work remotely for part of the time. As a Senior Auditor you will lead and execute audits oversee engagement teams and ensure compliance with relevant financial standards. Key responsibilities include planning and performing audits preparing detailed financial reports identifying risks and recommending actionable solutions to clients. You will be expected to collaborate with team members manage client relations and assist in driving process improvements within the audit practice.

Qualifications

Strong auditing skills including financial statement audits and assurance services.
Proficiency in financial reporting data analysis and interpreting accounting standards.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and oversee multiple engagements.
Detail-oriented with proficiency in documentation reviewing financial data and quality control.
Effective communication and client management skills with the ability to present findings effectively to stakeholders.
Proficiency in accounting and auditing software tools; experience with commonly used accounting systems is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification required.
5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or auditing roles preferably in a mid-sized or large firm
