Job Summary

Senior Product Designer

Location: 2300 Yorkmont Rd. Charlotte NC 28217 (Hybrid/Onsite)

Include portfolio - will only consider candidates that have full portfolios that are online. They look for complete case studies to show the full life cycle of their work.

What youll work on:

Design platform-level and supporting services used across multiple healthcare products

Solve complex systemic problems that extend beyond individual features or screens

Translate strategic intent into clear actionable design work and feed tactical learnings back into platform direction

Partner closely with product engineering and business stakeholders to make informed tradeoffs under real-world constraints

Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate exploration prototyping and alignment

What were looking for:

Were looking for a designer with strong execution muscles and strong judgment with 8-10 YOE.

You:

Are highly tactical and hands-on while staying grounded in design theory and systems thinking

Naturally bridge tactics and strategy understanding how detailed design decisions shape long-term platform outcomes

Operate with high autonomy ownership and accountability

Demonstrate clear critical thinking and articulate design rationale (bonus if you do this effectively with non-designers)

Think in systems and platforms not just features

Bring strong product sense balancing user value business needs and operational realities

Have excellent UI taste with a high bar for clarity hierarchy and polish

Act as a thought partner helping shape design standards practices and platform vision-not just delivering artifacts

AI-enabled design (must-have)

AI is core to how we work. You should have hands-on experience using tools like Figma Make Lovable or similar and be comfortable using AI to:

Explore and iterate on ideas quickly

Prototype and test concepts

Support design storytelling and stakeholder conversations

Tools & experience

Advanced proficiency in Figma

Experience designing complex digital products platforms or internal systems

Comfort working in environments where problems are not fully defined and require sound judgment

By 6 months a successful Senior Product Designer in this role will:

Own a meaningful slice of the healthcare platform from problem framing through execution

Be trusted to operate independently making sound design decisions without heavy oversight

Consistently translate strategy into clear tactical design work-and surface insights from execution that influence platform direction

Contribute to platform coherence improving shared patterns services or design standards

Raise the bar on UI quality and interaction clarity

Be a go-to thought partner for PMs and engineers not just a delivery function

Actively use AI tools to accelerate exploration communication and iteration

Improve how design decisions are explained and defended across non-design stakeholders
