Job Description
The School of Dentistry has an outstanding opportunity for a Temporary Program Coordinator to join their team.
Under general direction this position (Payroll Title: Program Coordinator (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv)) coordinates and supports specialized programs within the School of Dentistrys Deans Office and Office of Student Success. The Program Coordinator exercises independent judgment in interpreting and applying University policies and procedures; provides programmatic support to students faculty and staff; coordinates meetings events and student-focused initiatives; and monitors program expenditures and operational activities. This role requires discretion sound judgment strong organizational skills and a consistent on-site presence.
Serve as the first point of contact for the Deans Office; greet guests and facilitate access to the Deans suite.
Coordinate Deans Office meetings schedules and materials.
Initiate maintain and monitor program expenditures as directed.
Process memberships travel and reimbursements for the Dean.
Develop correspondences facilitate approvals and maintain office operations.
Organize Student Success and Student Life committee meetings.
Support admissions interviews and respond to inquiries.
Provide programmatic support for student events such as White Coat Hooding and Honors & Awards.
Manage tutor assignments and payroll.
Maintain Student Success communications and web content.
Provide staff support for councils and committees.
Support schoolwide initiatives and special projects.
Coordinate logistics and timelines to align with program goals.
Provide back-up support to the Executive Assistant to the Dean.
Use standard office software to support program operations.
Interpret and apply UW policies and procedures.
Perform related duties as required.
This position is required to work on-site five (5) days per week. Due to the front facing and programmatic nature of the role hybrid or remote work is not available.
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the Project Coordination.
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except where legal requirements apply.
