Nalanda Educational Institutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Management Studies Lecturer to join our esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in management studies guiding students in their academic and professional development and contributing to the overall academic excellence of the institution.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Course Delivery:** Design and deliver engaging lectures seminars and tutorials for undergraduate students enrolled in management studies courses. Develop course materials including syllabi lesson plans and instructional resources to facilitate student learning and achievement of learning outcomes.
2. **Curriculum Development:** Contribute to the development and enhancement of the management studies curriculum in alignment with industry standards academic guidelines and institutional objectives. Integrate current trends case studies and practical applications into course content to ensure relevance and rigor.
3. **Student Engagement:** Foster an interactive and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation critical thinking and collaborative learning among students. Provide academic guidance mentorship and support to students to facilitate their intellectual growth and professional readiness.
4. **Assessment and Feedback:** Design and administer assessments including examinations assignments projects and presentations to evaluate student learning outcomes. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their academic performance and achieve their potential.
5. **Research and Scholarship:** Engage in scholarly activities and research in the field of management studies contributing to the advancement of knowledge and understanding in the discipline. Disseminate research findings through publications presentations and participation in academic conferences.
6. **Advising and Mentoring:** Serve as an academic advisor to undergraduate students majoring or minoring in management studies assisting them in academic planning course selection and career exploration. Offer guidance and support to students on academic and professional matters helping them navigate their educational journey.
7. **Professional Development:** Stay current with developments in the field of management studies including emerging theories practices and trends. Participate in professional development activities workshops and conferences to enhance teaching effectiveness subject matter expertise and scholarly productivity.
8. **Service and Collaboration:** Contribute to the academic community through participation in departmental meetings committees and institutional initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum review assessment accreditation and other academic endeavors to promote continuous improvement and excellence.
**Qualifications:**
1. A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Management Studies Business Administration or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
2. Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level preferably in a degree college or higher education setting. Demonstrated excellence in teaching effectiveness student engagement and curriculum development.
3. Strong subject matter expertise in management theories principles and practices with a focus on one or more areas such as organizational behavior strategic management human resource management or entrepreneurship.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment that values diversity equity and inclusion.
5. Proficiency in instructional technology and learning management systems for course delivery content management and student interaction. Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools for blended or hybrid learning modalities is desirable.
Bachelors degree in Education or a related field. Teaching certification. Proven experience as a Primary Social science Teacher (1 - 3) years Excellent Communication Skills. Strong passion for education and fostering a love for Social Science in young learners Should have good knowledge of subject with good experience. Students handling skills in the classroom.
