Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sanskrit Lecturer to join our esteemed faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Sanskrit language literature and grammar with a commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering student engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Teach undergraduate courses in Sanskrit literature grammar and language studies in accordance with the academic syllabus.
  

• Lesson Planning: Design and implement effective lesson plans and teaching materials that encourage student participation and comprehension.
  

• Student Assessment: Conduct evaluations through tests assignments and classroom interactions and provide timely and constructive feedback.
  

• Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest research in Sanskrit studies and integrate relevant insights into the classroom.
  

• Mentorship: Guide and support students in their academic and career journeys including mentoring for competitions or exams.
  

• Professional Development: Engage in workshops seminars and academic collaborations to enhance subject knowledge and teaching skills.
  

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: M.A. in Sanskrit (Ph.D. preferred but not mandatory)
  

• Experience: 2 to 4 years of teaching experience in a higher education institution preferably in a degree college.
  

Skills:

• Proficiency in classical and modern Sanskrit.
  

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  

• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and educational software.
  

• Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse learning needs.
  

Screening Process:

• Written Test: Subject-related exam to evaluate depth of knowledge in Sanskrit.
  

• Proficiency Test: Evaluation of skills in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
  

• Interview: To understand the candidates teaching style experience and cultural fit.
  

• Teaching Demonstration: A sample lecture to assess pedagogical effectiveness.
