Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders ensuring all details are captured.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and special requests.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and check back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area including tables and service stations.
- Assist in training new staff members and provide guidance as needed.
- Stay informed about menu items and specials to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Handle customer complaints gracefully and professionally ensuring resolution.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus.
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
