As the Senior Manager Network Economic Regulation you will spearhead strategies and policies with a focus on Networks and Pipelines to achieve NSW Government outcomes. Working within Energy Infrastructure you will ensure NSW energy legislation and regulations are fit for purpose and lead a portfolio of initiatives within the Networks and Pipelines Policy Branch.

About You
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading complex and highimpact policy development and delivery within the energy sector. Your experience spans both energy markets and network infrastructure where you have consistently driven priority outcomes through strategic analysis collaborative stakeholder engagement and the design of evidencebased policy solutions.
You will bring a strong ability to translate technical and market insights into clear actionable policy directions legislative and regulatory instruments that support government objectives.
You also bring extensive experience navigating Cabinet legislative and parliamentary processes. This includes shaping and coordinating comprehensive legislative packages managing crossagency and stakeholder contributions and supporting the smooth progression of legislation through all stages of Parliament.
Your capability in managing endtoend legislative processes ensures reforms are wellcrafted rigorously considered and effectively implemented.

The Energy Infrastructure Division leads initiatives tomaintaina safesecureand reliable electricity and gas supply and support the transition to a clean and affordable energy system. This includes energy infrastructureassets in front of the customer meter such as electricity generation storage and networks gas and liquid fuel pipelines and underlying electricity and gas markets.
The Divisionis responsible forpolicy stewardship safety and technical regulation technical advice and managing agreements for energy infrastructure investment and operations. The Energy Infrastructure Division also coordinates energy industry responsein the event ofemergencies

DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.
DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
