About the Role

As our People & Safety Coordinator youll be right at the heart of the business helping shape employee experiences and keeping our workplace safe supported and running smoothly.

This is the perfect opportunity for a recent grad (or early-career professional) whos curious organised and passionate about people. Youll gain hands-on exposure across HR people systems and workplace health & safety building real-world experience that sets you up for a long-term career in People & Culture.

Youll become the go-to support for employee lifecycle processes safety systems compliance and internal platforms learning how everything connects behind the scenes to create a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Owning the day-to-day management of our People & Safety systems (Flare Tanda CultureAmp Zendesk DoneSafe).
• Being the first point of contact for general HR queries and systems support via our People Helpdesk.
• Drafting employment contracts variations statements of service and key communications.
• Supporting exciting People projects alongside our People Partnering team.
• Helping maintain WHS systems policies and registers to keep our teams safe.
• Coordinating incident reporting investigations and follow-ups.
• Organising safety training inductions and compliance documentation.
• Assisting with workers compensation and return-to-work processes.
• Supporting policy updates and internal communications.
• Contributing to the smooth running of all People & Safety administration.

About You

You might be a recent graduate or early in your career and ready to dive in. Youre curious proactive and love being organised.

• Qualification in HR WHS or a related field (or working towards).
• 03 years experience in a People/HR Safety or Coordinator role.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and excellent time management.
• Confident communicator with a professional approachable style.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Tech-savvy with experience using HRIS and Microsoft tools.
