Whats the role
Youll lead the full Finance and Treasury function for Westpac Papua New Guinea shaping how the business performs today and how it grows sustainably into the future. Based in Port Moresby this is a fulltime leadership role where youll partner closely with the PNG Country Head GM Pacific and Group Finance with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through a 23 year assignment.
Youll use your strong leadership and stakeholder influence to drive accountability across Treasury balance sheet management regulatory reporting and financial planning- leading budgeting forecasting and longterm planning with clarity and purpose.
What do I need
Youll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Senior leadership experience across Finance and Treasury within a regulated banking environment
- Deep capability in liquidity management ALM balance sheet optimisation and prudential regulation
- Proven ownership of financial control FP&A performance reporting and governance
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and regulators
- Demonstrated people leadership building highperforming multidisciplinary finance teams supported by a degree in finance economics accounting or a related field (CPA CFA or FINSIA preferred).
