As an Electrical Engineering Intern on the Stretch Hardware team you will be part of a dynamic group that is building our newest commercial robot designed to remedy tough challenges within the warehouse this role you will get the opportunity to design and troubleshoot Stretchs electrical systems.
What you will get to do:
Perform electrical PCBA design integration and PCB layout efforts
Apply your knowledge to inform robot builds and debug complex electrical systems
Work on a range of systems from small sub-assemblies to fully integrated robots including specification to design prototype reliability validation and manufacturing
Potential to collaborate with mechanical firmware controls perception software and test engineers in small or large cross-disciplinary teams to design and bring robots to market
We are looking for someone:
Currently pursuing a BSEE or related degree
Passion for working on electrical systems and robotics
Proficiency in electronics design fundamentals
Experience using schematic capture and PCB layout software (Altium or similar)
Ability to use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes DMMs power supplies etc.
Bonus:
Demonstrated experience with circuit board and electrical system debug and failure analysis
Firmware or software development experience in C/C
Working understanding of command-line Linux or a similar operating system
Ability to solder SMT PCB components

The hourly pay range for this position is between $30-$45/ hour. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to internal equity job related knowledge skills education and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
