Job Title: Process Engineering Lead (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Low-Code/Process Optimization Government Domain -14yrs)
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid )
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities - Conduct end-to-end reviews of selected business processes across designated departments or functional areas.
- Engage stakeholders to gather insights on pain points bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Document As-Is workflows and analyze them using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Design optimized To-Be workflows and develop transition strategies.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance process efficiency reduce waste and improve operational effectiveness.
- Establish performance metrics to track improvements and measure return on investment (ROI).
- Facilitate working sessions process mapping workshops and training initiatives as needed.
- Translate optimized processes into detailed functional and non-functional requirements for modular or low-code technology solutions.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure process requirements are accurately reflected in system design and architecture.
- Work closely with IT and operations teams to align process improvement initiatives with system capabilities.
- Support development of implementation roadmaps and organizational change management strategies.
Required Qualifications - Extensive experience in process engineering operations optimization or business process improvement.
- Strong experience evaluating current-state processes and implementing process optimization strategies.
- Experience specifying software system requirements to support improved technology solutions.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification (required).
- Proven track record leading large-scale process transformation initiatives within complex organizations.
- Proficiency in process modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio or similar platforms.
- Strong facilitation communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with operational metrics workflow optimization and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in regulated or government environments.
- Familiarity with process automation platforms or low-code solutions.
- Lean certification.
