This high impact role will be responsible for managing a complex $2 billion portfolio.

About the Role:
This is your opportunity to shape market strategy uncover new opportunities and deliver innovative customer-focused solutions. Youll own profit pricing decisions and lead the charge in expanding our market share. Your expertise will drive technical excellence in underwriting and risk management while your leadership will inspire teams and build lasting relationships with producers and insureds. Youll also have the flexibility to work from either our Sydney or Melbourne office.

What Youll Do:

• Oversee a $2B portfolio ensuring robust performance and sustainable growth in a dynamic highly regulated environment.
• Lead and inspire a team of 300 professionalsincluding seasoned leaders and technical expertsdistributed across 5 states.
• Navigate and influence within a sophisticated matrix organization collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
• Set vision and strategy for a large-scale operation fostering innovation accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive growth and profitability across our Property & Casualty lines
• Achieve ambitious growth and profit targets
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key partners
• Champion technical excellence and creative underwriting
• Implement market initiatives and expand Chubbs presence
  

What Were Looking For:

• Proven track record in managing large complex portfolios and leading sizable geographically dispersed teams.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment balancing multiple priorities and stakeholder interests.
• Exceptional leadership communication and strategic thinking skills.
• Advanced expertise in underwriting risk management and people leadership
• Creative negotiation skills and experience developing new insurance products
