What Its Like:

Our team owns the MPM Product Catalog Platform the source of truth for every product price offer and configuration across T-Mobiles systems. We power the digital backbone behind all selling channels: from retail stores to to care and all T-Mobile partner systems. Our scope spans data modeling publishing integrations and tooling enabling faster product launches accurate pricing and a seamless customer experience. Were modernizing core infrastructure to be API-first cloud-ready and AI-augmented to support T-Mobiles digital future.

What Youll Do:

This summer our intern will support engineering development efforts focused on modernizing the MPM Product Catalog Platform. Theyll contribute to improving internal tools streamlining product configuration workflows and enhancing system performance through automation. Their work will lay the foundation for future AI/ML-powered capabilities such as intelligent validations and agent-driven offer creation. By strengthening the core platform theyll help accelerate time-to-market and improve the accuracy of product launches across T-Mobile channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and testing of internal catalog tools and automation workflows

• Assist in streamlining product configuration and publishing processes

• Support code quality improvements regression testing and system validation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and enhance engineering pipelines

• Explore and prototype features that lay the groundwork for future AI/ML-driven catalog enhancements

What It Takes:

• Working toward a degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field

• Proficiency in Java Python or other modern programming languages

• Familiarity with Git CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices

• Exposure to REST APIs microservices Kubernetes or backend systems is a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills curiosity and a passion for building scalable systems

• Interest in AI/ML concepts or data validation frameworks is a bonus

Additional Job Description

-At least 18 years of age
-Legally authorized to work in the United States
-High School Diploma or GED
-Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
-Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Relocation may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour.
