Hourly Manufacturing Technical RecruiterPosition Overview
Primary Responsibilities:
Shaw Industries is seeking an hourly Manufacturing Technical Recruiter who specializes in sourcing and hiring skilled trades talent with a focus on Electricians Maintenance Technicians and other technical manufacturing roles. This recruiter will work closely with plant leadership HR partners and Talent Acquisition to build strong pipelines reduce time to fill and ensure we are continuously attracting high quality talent to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
Assist Recruitment leadership with developing and implementing a comprehensive recruitment strategy for Manufacturing technical positions.
Be the single point of contact and collaborate closely with Hiring Managers HR teams and Plant Leadership to maintain a clear understanding of technical role requirements and provide consistent communication throughout the hiring process.
Recruit for a variety of technical manufacturing roles with an emphasis on Electricians Maintenance Technicians Mechanics and Automation/Controls roles.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards skilled trade communities trade schools social platforms employee referrals and industry networking.
Build and maintain talent pools for recurring hourly or hard to fill technical roles across multiple locations.
Partner with the Shaw Technical Academy on recruitment strategies and follow up on previously hired candidates to ensure quality is at the level expected.
Manage the full hourly recruitment lifecycle from intake to offer.
Ensure all candidates receive timely communication and a positive interview experience.
Coordinate interviews assessments and onsite visits partnering with scheduling and hiring teams as needed.
Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on hiring progress and pipeline health.
Lead project initiatives across the hourly TA team and assist with harder to fill hourly positions.
Lead training for hourly recruiters on strategic sourcing for high volume roles using various tools.
Promote Shaws employer brand and ensure a positive experience for both candidates and new associates.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma/GED
3 years of general recruiting experience
2 years of experience recruiting for skilled trades roles such as Electricians Maintenance Technicians Mechanics and similar technical positions.
Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing environments shift structures certifications (e.g. PLC electrical systems) and technical competencies.
Ability to build strong relationships with plant leaders and technicians.
Proactive sourcing skills with experience using multiple channels (LinkedIn Indeed trade schools military networks etc.).
Excellent communication organization and problem solving skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Advanced computer skills
Preferred requirements:
Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations or high-volume skilled trades hiring.
ATS experience (Workday or similar).
