We are looking for a Field Care Supervisor to support our Care Professionals and maintain the excellent service to our clients that we are known for.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and maintaining compliance with care plans and organisational standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader with strong communication skills who thrives on challenge.
The role will require flexibility and adaptability as you interact with our Clients and Care Professionals out in the field as well as plan and administrate alongside our friendly team in the office.
Core hours will be 9am - 5pm weekdays with occasional evening and weekend work depending on operational needs and the on-call phone rota.
A car is essential to the role
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Support
- Coach observe and mentor new Care Professionals and carry out competency checks.
- Carry out spot checks with care professionals to ensure best practice.
- Ensure compliance with Home Instead standards and review care plans
- Audit care plan records and suggest enhancements.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation reporting and communication purposes efficiently.
Operational Support
- Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing Clients their families and other professionals involved in their care
- Oversee and monitor regulated activities and complex care
- Act as stand-in Care Professional when required
- Introduce Care Professionals to new clients
- Manage supervision visits and feedback for Care Professionals
- Establish new client routines
- Provide on-call mobile phone cover on weekends and evening as part of the team rota
Qualifications :
Requirements
- Genuine passion for person-centred quality care
- Experience of care provision ideally a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care
- Office administration skills and computer literate
- Supervisory experience
- Communicates easily and builds trust quickly
- Organised reliable and happy to adapt to change
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Right to Work in UK (please note this is not a sponsorship position)
- Fluent in written and spoken english
