We are looking for a motivated individual in their1st 2nd or 3rd year of Electrical or Mechanical Trades apprenticeshipto join our team.

Currently we have an exciting opportunity for a Apprentice Service Electrician.

About the role

• As an apprentice you will be trained in the Service and Repairing part of the business for Lifts Escalators and Travelators.

• You will get to work closely with our customers and develop exceptional customer service skills.

• Throughout your apprenticeship you will gain exposure to completing the installation modernization repairs and maintenance of escalators elevators and travelators.

• You will gain maximum exposure to the Service business throughout the life of your apprenticeship learning the roles of a lift electrician and mechanic.

As an Apprentice at Otis heres what you will need

• Hold Electrical and Mechanical apprenticeships or completion of relevant pre-apprentice qualifications.

• Have a minimum of Year 10 School Certificate or equivalent.

• Must be a permanent resident citizen or relevant visa holder with full working rights in New Zealand.

• Be a self-starter with a strong passion for innovation and a willingness to learn.

• Having previous experience in the elevator industry will be an added advantage.

• Keen interest in developing a long-term career within the elevator industry.
