Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff to develop RFP documents and detailed designs
- Performing and reviewing hydraulic calculations
- Drafting and editing project specifications to manage risk
- Infrastructure condition assessment and developing rehabilitation and repair plans
- Coordination with stakeholders contractors and government agencies
Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 12-15 years of water and wastewater engineering experience 5 years experience in project management
- Currently have or able to obtain a Professional Engineering License in Washington D.C. Virginia and Maryland
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Design-Build Contracts
- Demonstrated experience overseeing the development and implementation of design and construction contract documents for complex infrastructure projects.
- Experience with the permitting process in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties is preferrable
Salary range: $110000.00 - $180000.00/yearly (dependent on years of experience competency location)
