Greenberg Traurig a global top-tier AmLaw 16 law firm is seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development and Marketing Manager to join its Boston office. Reporting to the Director of Marketing this role will collaborate closely with the Events and Communications teams to lead a broad range of marketing business development and strategic communications initiatives.
The Manager will play a key role in strengthening the firms brand presence and increasing its visibility across the Boston area while supporting various practices in the region.
The role in action:
- Serve as a collaborative partner to attorneys building trusted insight-driven relationships and acting as their go-to advisor for daily marketing and business development needs all while propelling the firms priorities and amplifying its market presence.
- Lead influential directory submissions RFP responses proposals and presentations by transforming market research and client intelligence into high impact deliverables.
- Identify media award and visibility opportunities while crafting compelling content including newsletters client updates website content and event materials.
- Boost the firms profile through strategic sponsorships community engagement and well-executed client events while collaborating across teams to ensure consistent up to date marketing materials and attorney information.
- Cross-collaborate with firmwide marketing to develop up-to-date and accurate marketing materials including new attorney welcome materials biographies practice area descriptions and press releases.
- Prepare welcome materials for new attorneys including working with lateral shareholders to help integrate them including helping them prioritize which attorneys to meet internally.
We are seeking candidates who:
- Bring 7 years of experience in business development or marketing within a
law firm or other professional services setting. - Hold a bachelors degree.
- Exhibit sharp communication skills meticulous attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure while balancing competing priorities in a fast-growth environment.
- Familiarity with Intellectual Property and Emerging Technology practices is a plus.
