Job Summary
Carnegie Mellon University Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy is seeking candidates for two Instructional Support Staff positions for the Los Angeles-based Master of Entertainment Industry Management program. Ideal candidates will have completed masters level coursework in areas such as Writing Composition Management or will demonstrate exceptional domain area expertise in the entertainment industry. One role is focused in the areas of Film Economics Development Marketing and Distribution. A second position is focused on the Music Business and Music Supervision
Instructional Support Staff will act as Teaching Assistants for Heinz College Entertainment Industry Management faculty and adjunct instructors. Responsibilities and duties may include assisting the instructor in preparing and obtaining materials for class attending class for the purpose of aiding students holding office hours to help students individually or in small groups grading homework assignments and exams holding review sessions proctoring exams and performing other duties in support of courses primary instructors. Both in-person and remote position assignments may be available but this person should be based in Los Angeles CA.

The candidate should ideally have with experience in the entertainment industry. Recent experience in interacting with graduate or professional courses is preferred but not necessary. A masters degree is preferred but industry experience is just as important.
