Senior Manager - In Season Chase

The Team

Within the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team our mission is to ensure the Global Full Price product strategy is adapted to meet the specific needs of the region to maximize DTC performance & wholesale growth and to ensure operational readiness across the Full Price buying teams. This position serves as the backbone of the Full Price team collaborating closely with Hubs and wider CK teams to drive overall commercial performance. With an integral position in the team the role contributes significantly to the departments operational efficiency strategic growth and overall success.

The Position

As Senior Manager In-Season Chase you will play a critical role within the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team leading in-season reorders read-and-react and chase strategies to drive speed to market and commercial impact. You will leverage data-driven models to respond to trends and best sellers dynamically adjusting repeat management and capacity using established levers. The role partners closely with key accounts driving direct sales budget developing exclusive product packages directly with key vendors and strengthening relationships through deeper access to customer and consumer data. This position is essential to achieving Full Price Buying & Merchandising objectives and is a key contributor to the sustained commercial success of the CK brand.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in-season chase reorder and read-and-react strategies to optimize speed to market inventory flow and full-price performance across EMEA.

  • Own and execute a data-driven in-season trading model reacting to trends and best sellers by dynamically managing repeat management capacity and commitments. Including style-level forecasting volume planning and inventory optimization to support both short- and long-term market needs.

  • Partner closely with Key Accounts to drive additional direct sales budgets develop and execute exclusive product packages with key vendors.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global team regional merchandising & buying freelance design and hub sales teams to align global strategy with local execution opportunities.

  • Increase access to and utilization of customer and consumer data through strategic account partnerships to inform in-season and future decisions.

  • Drive continuous improvement and speed by implementing new systems AI tools and processes to improve merchandising efficiency and data integrity.

  • Mentor and develop 2 junior team members supporting capability building adherence to timelines and consistent ways of working.

  • Maintain close relationships with supply value chain & vendors in all aspects related to brand and product expectations.

  • Determine initial vendor allocation for style requests in line with the Global sourcing.

  • Maintain product data integrity by ensuring all product information is accurate complete and uptodate across all supported systems from initial style creation through sales readiness.

  • Accountable for quarterly in season performance outcomes incl. performance reviews identify root causes of variance andown the delivery of corrective actions and process improvements with measurable impact on cost availability and margin KPIs.

Measures of Success

  • Product creation and trend responsiveness: high levels of product execution including sell out performance of new collections speed to market for new trends exclusive product performance

  • Customer and market insight: accurate market insight including customer demand forecasting customer ratings and reviews

  • Range & option count sell through rate net sales and inventory levels

Requirements

  • 7-10 years relevant experience in product development and merchandising for a fashion retailer.

  • Proven track record in shaping and improving projects and process within fashion industry.

  • Strong understanding of regional market trends and consumer behavior.

  • Able to work in a fast paced matrix based challenging environment with problem-solving skills.

  • Strong analytical planning and organization skills with the ability to generate meaningful data insights to take commercial decisions.

  • Communication skills: advanced ability to clearly convey information both written and orally to executive internal stakeholders.

  • Strong business and commercial acumen.

  • Operates independently and plays an active role in strategic decision-making.

  • Proven ability to work well with others as part of a high-performing team supporting and inspiring team members.

  • Fluent English both written and verbal.

  • Ability to travel abroad.

  • Education: a Bachelors degree in Business Fashion Merchandising or a related field is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
