- Salary ranges from $129464 to $142665 p.a. plus super and annual leave loading
About the role
As a Senior IT Auditor you will lead complex audits of IT systems applications and processes to ensure IT controls cybersecurity and data management practices are robust secure and compliant. You will:
- Conduct risk assessments across technology infrastructure systems and IT applications
- Review IT general controls application controls cybersecurity frameworks data privacy
- Evaluate third-party IT vendors cloud environments and Saas environments
- Partner with IT and business teams to identify control gaps recommend solutions and monitor corrective actions
- Present audit findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders

About you
- Proven experience conducting IT audits
- Skilled in using data analytics tools to assess risk and controls
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Can manage multiple assignments prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Departments Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Departments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent workplace experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
- Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
