Job Summary
Collins Community Credit Union a growing organization is currently recruiting for an Indirect Loan Processor. This person will be a competitive independent doer who can problem solve and get things done through this role you will be responsible for reviewing verifying and funding approved loan applications received through indirect lending channels.
This position is onsite at our Blairs Ferry Rd location in Cedar Rapids. Applicants must have valid work authorization for permanent employment in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
Essential Functions:
- Review loan files for accuracy and completeness including loan documents finance contract buyers order title paperwork insurance information membership application acceptable identification vehicle book out and ancillary product contracts. Maintain accurate member and loan information in the core system to ensure smooth funding of loan packages.
- Talks with dealers about their concerns including but not limited to problems with contracts documentation and vehicle title questions.
- Performs miscellaneous duties including but not limited to processing Loan Payoffs Lien Perfections Vehicle Titling & Registration Welcome Letters and Missing Documentation.
- Opens accounts for new members obtained through Indirect Loans.
- Track loan application status to ensure timely processing and interact with dealers to advise and clear funding issues.
- Manages dealer inquiries within the service level guidelines related to the loan process and provides update. Inquiries may come as a phone call or via the LOS.
- Work closely with Underwriting and other departments to ensure seamless loan processing lien perfection and member onboarding.
- Process direct consumer loans from branch network from time to time to assist the Consumer Loan Processors.
Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
