Job Summary
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master position! This is a 10 month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo NY onsite 3-4 days a week. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Apply Agile best practices in a banking environment including user stories retrospectives story mapping ATDD TDD continuous integration pairing and information radiators to build high-performing teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration transparency and retrospectives.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups backlog refinement sprint reviews retrospectives and problem-solving sessions.
- Help the team gain workflow transparency using appropriate information radiators and Agile metrics.
- Remove impediments and address blockers beyond the teams authority to keep goals on track.
- Collaborate with other Agile leaders to enhance Agile maturity across the organization.
- Support individual and team learning opportunities including communities of practice conferences and training.
- Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards policies and controls.
- Design implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate risk and escalate issues as needed.
What Youll Need to Have:
- Strong SAFe and Scrum knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding problem solving abilities
- 2 years of experience as a member of an Agile team
- 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Knowledge of Agile and Lean principles and practices.
- Experience developing or managing digital capabilities.
- Banking industry experience preferred.
Pay Range:$45-$55/hr
