Job Summary

Looking for a Functional Master Data Management (MDM) consultant in the Healthcare Provider domain acts as the bridge between clinical/business operations and technical data architecture. Your primary mission is to ensure that Provider Data (doctors clinics hospitals credentials and affiliations) is accurate accessible and synchronized across the the healthcare world this isnt just about clean lists-its about ensuring a patient can find the right specialist a claim gets paid to the correct NPI and regulatory compliance (like the No Surprises Act) is met.

1. Strategic Product Roadmap

Define the vision for the Provider Master (MDM) platform prioritizing features that improve data quality and downstream consumption.
Align the data strategy with business goals such as Value-Based Care initiatives or Digital Front Door (patient scheduling) enhancements.

2. Domain Governance & Standard Setting

Establish data standards for complex provider hierarchies (e.g. individual vs. group practices billing vs. service locations).
Own the Source of Truth logic: deciding which data source (credentialing systems HR or government registries like NPPES) wins in a conflict.

3. Stakeholder Orchestration

Collaborate with Clinical Ops Credentialing Finance and IT to ensure the data serves everyones needs.
Translate business-speak (e.g. We need to track provider telehealth capabilities) into tech-speak for data engineers.

4. Data Quality & Compliance

Monitor KPIs like data completeness accuracy and Golden Record health.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA CMS requirements and state-level mandates).

Required Qualifications
