About the role
The Lead Environment (PRFS) is an energising hands on leadership role where no two days look the same. Youll be at the centre of PRFS operations out in the field leading the environmental function through incident response onsite investigations and practical environmental decision making across a wide and dynamic asset base. This role gives you the scope to influence strategy while staying connected to real world environmental outcomes. Youll work directly with regulators operational crews and regional leaders to solve complex environmental challenges drive improvement and elevate PRFSs environmental performance. What you can expect with this role
Leading the PRFS operational Environmental Team including workload planning mentoring and performance oversight.
Overseeing environmental incident response investigations and regulatory reporting.
Managing PRFS environmental approvals risk assessments and compliance obligations.
Building strong relationships with regulators internal teams and key stakeholders.
Representing PRFS in environmental forums and contributing to operational planning.
Your skills and experience
Degree in a relevant discipline such as environmental science science engineering or natural resource management.
Proven leadership experience in environmental management within complex operational environments.
Strong understanding of environmental legislation regulatory processes and compliance requirements.
Experience in incident management investigations and environmental risk assessment.
Ability to build productive relationships with regulators stakeholders and internal teams.
Excellent communication skills including preparation of reports briefings and technical advice.
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and support team capability development.
