An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Care Manager to join a well-established live-in care service in the Derby area. This role offers the chance to take a leading role in delivering high-quality person-centred live-in care services.
This is an ideal position for a motivated care professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding care in peoples homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of live-in care services
- Ensure high-quality person-centred care is consistently delivered
- Manage and support a team of care staff and live-in carers
- Carry out care assessments reviews and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for service users families and professionals
- Coordinate staffing arrangements rotas and service coverage
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements where needed
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care management or senior care coordination role
- Strong understanding of live-in care or domiciliary care services
- Excellent leadership organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards) desirable
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
