Business Teacher – Dudley

A forward-thinking and ambitious secondary school in Dudley is seeking a passionate and dynamic Business Teacher to join their thriving department. This is a full-time permanent position starting ASAP suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to inspire students in the field of Business Studies.

About the Role

As a Business Teacher you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 and potentially KS5 fostering a strong understanding of business concepts enterprise skills and financial literacy. You will plan and deliver lessons that develop students analytical thinking problem-solving abilities and understanding of the modern business environment.

The role involves preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations monitoring progress and contributing to curriculum planning. You will also have opportunities to support extracurricular initiatives such as business competitions enterprise projects and career-focused activities.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons across KS3/4 (KS5 optional)
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Assess monitor and track student progress
Contribute to departmental curriculum planning and enrichment activities
Support school-wide initiatives clubs and enterprise projects
Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that encourages engagement and participation

Experience and Qualifications

Degree in Business Economics or a related discipline
QTS or PGCE
Experience teaching Business Studies in secondary education (ECTs welcome)
