Job Summary
The Senior Financial Accounting will support clients on technical accounting and financial reporting matters analysing accounting treatments under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting requirements.
Role description:
Perform technical accounting research and prepare well-structured analyses on clients transactions and operations in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards;
Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements disclosures and supporting documentation for clients;
Support managers and senior team members on complex accounting engagements and client deliverables;
Act as a key contributor to the team by guiding and coaching junior staff and supporting their day-to-day development;
Participate in client meetings and help respond to technical accounting queries in a clear and practical manner;
Support business development activities including contributing to proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
Qualifications:
University degree in Accounting Finance or a related field;
Approximately 3 years of experience in audit financial reporting accounting advisory or methodology;
Good working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements;
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical standards into practical solutions;
Ability to contribute to proposals and other business development efforts;
Fluent in English (written and spoken);
ACCA qualification (or progress toward ACCA) is required.
